Re: L2 (Optane) R/W L1 100%R, Writes are too fast for RO!

We did a quick test following your configuration but don't see any problems. Please note that Windows has its built-in write caching with a latency of 2 seconds, maybe because of this? You may also reset statistics data by right-click on the statistics panel and then choose "reset" on the ...

Re: Can't get writing caching to work.

To improve the write performance, you have to enable the "Defer-Write". Otherwise, write-data goes directly to drives. The setting of Read/Write cache space is to determine how much space is used for caching read-data or write-data. If you cache write-data, but without "Defer-Write&qu...

Could you open your PrimoCache, choose/highlight the target volume item in the main dialog, and then make a screenshot of the PrimoCache main dialog and sent it to us? We'd like to see how the cache is configured and used. Thanks.

Re: How to make L2 cache persistent?

When cache space is full of data, PrimoCache will replace old cached data by new data based on certain algorithms. So far PrimoCache cannot stick cache data for specified folders/files. In future we may support this. Thanks.

Re: CHIA and PrimoCache

using a L2 cache from Primocache is basically the same as using the L2's SSD as the Temp plot drive. Not exactly. You can share one SSD for more plotting tasks at the same time with PrimoCache. For eg. K=33, you need about 521G temp space for each plotting. So a 2TB SSD can support for 4 parallel p...
