I use Primocache on my OS drive (It's pcie nvme SSD).
I have configured L1 cache.
Does it make sense to use same drive as L2 cache too? Will it speed up the boot or search or anything else?
I also have another SSD (slightly slower this OS SSD). Does it make sense to use it as L2 cache?
Is it good idea to use same disk as L2 cache?
Re: Is it good idea to use same disk as L2 cache?
No. L2 is designed to use fast drives to speed up slow drives. Using a slow drive as L2 will slow down the target drive.
