I have 4 10tb SEAGATE HDDs attached to my office pc. I often have to copy data from small hdds about 1 or 2 tb to paste in one of those BIG hdds.
I have Gskill 32gb 3600Mhz ram
and a 250GB SSD
5700g cpu
MSI TOMAHAWK BOARD.
Usually getting ONLY 22MB/sec copy speed both in default window and in Teracopy. Then i have come to know about PRIMOCACHE.
My request is - What exactly will be the L1(GSKILL RAM) & L2 (SSD) cache settings to increase the speed of copy and paste. Please save my day.

Re: BULK COPY.. how to use SSD to increase the speed
For bulk file copies like this, PrimoCache won't speed things up if it's a fresh bulk copy. Here's why:
The copy speed is locked by two things:
. Read speed of your source disk
2. Write speed of your destination disk
Caching only helps if the source files were already cached before copying. Since this is a fresh bulk copy, caching can't boost the initial read speeds.
