i think like that you could add more options and may be a config screen for advanced user and an other for newbie...
in other term i think you could make the program more complex more efficient and more easy to use like that...

The reasons why we integrate the configuration panel into the main dialog instead of an individual dialog are that 1) users can easily compare the status data with the configuration data because sometimes the two data might not be identical, and 2) users can save one step of clicking button.

As you suggested, an individual configuration dialog can add more options. I am not sure if the R&D team will change the UI style later. But we always appreciate your kind participation and will consider your suggestion. Thank you again.
