Hi,
i have tested Fancycache since some days and found two things:
- With Fancycache activated on my OS Volume the TV-Program "DScaler" is not working and give me the message "Can´t create display memory"
- If i try to create an ISO image with IMGBurn on a Volume cached by Fancycache i have less data rate (280 MB/s) than without Fancycache (330 MB/s).
In this case the source (5 GB) is located on a Corsair P3-256 SSD (without Fancycache) and the destination is a Revodrive X2 (with Fancycache cache size 6 GB; write only).
Do you have an idea or a solution ?
FancyCache and IMGBurn / DScaler
Re: FancyCache and IMGBurn / DScaler
Hi stanko3,
And just for diagnosis purpose, did you test the performance under the best condition?
(best condition: the cache is empty and the latency is set to a large value, so that all data written to the destination are hold in memory)
Thank you.
We'll check it later.stanko3 wrote:With Fancycache activated on my OS Volume the TV-Program "DScaler" is not working and give me the message "Can´t create display memory"
Can you post your settings of FC?stanko3 wrote: If i try to create an ISO image with IMGBurn on a Volume cached by Fancycache i have less data rate (280 MB/s) than without Fancycache (330 MB/s).

Re: FancyCache and IMGBurn / DScaler
Hi,
i have updated my PC to 16GB RAM and give FC 12 GB for my prefered volume. With the settigs: Block Size 512 kB; LRU; Write only; Latency 200 s; now i have very good data rates also with creating ISO files.
The test will go on
