Suggestion for additional statistics

Post by RobF99 »

It would be nice if:

1. When you click on the Cache Task on the GUI that the statistics would show cumulative data for all drives so you can get an idea how the cache is performing across the board on just one screen

2. When you click on a specific drive to also show additional data as to how much of L1 and L2 is populated by this particular drive.

3. L1 Cached Read is explicitly included above L2Storage Read so one doesn't need to do a mental calculation Cached - L2

Thanks for an amazing product.

Thanks. This feature has been on the todo list.

Sorry, we won't support this considering the performance penalty.

This tells the total read cache hit rate, L1 cache hit rate and L2 cache hit rate. Some users want these information.

Yes, but it would be nice to have L1 there too. So you have Total Cached Read, L1 Read and L2 Read.
