Best settings

Post by stuartiannaylor »

I have an i5-6600k on a B150 Asus motherboard.
16Gb ram, 250Gb SSD system m.2 and a 1Tb harddrive for data and users folders.

I have set the L1 cache to be 4096Gb, Set a partition of 16Gb on the SSD for L2 cache.

All the options to give the best overall results, is the above optimised?
Also prefetch and other options still a bit confused.

What would be your suggestion with the above spec to get as fast as possible boot & disk speed?

Thanks

Well, I think such planning is ok. If you still have lots of memory unused, you may just increase L1 size.
