PrimoCache on a 2012R2 server (Core Edition)

Post by ltb76 »

Hi,

I'm trying to test PrimoCache on a 2012R2 server (Core Edition).
Since the GUI app does not work, I am setting it up via rxpcc.exe.
Setting up a RAM cache went without any issue, but I'm having trouble defining a L2 / SSD cache.

I got the disk ID via the powershell command "Get-Disk" - however I get the error "Warning: -l option: specified level-2 storage not found."
As far as I can understand I need to define the L2 cache first, but I cannot find the command for that via the CLI.
How do I configure L2 cache via CLI?

Furthermore is there a way to monitor cache hit via the CLI?

Thank you in advance.

I'm sorry that currently operations related to L2 storage are not available in CLI. They will be added in the next version.

Good news :)
May I be so bold to ask if there is an ETA on the next version, perhaps an RC I can test :) ?

Hi,

Any news for the release of a version with CLI support for L2 cache?

Cheers,
