Hi!
We have a server with a Supermicro board and dual hexacore Xeon CPUs. It has 48 GByte of RAM installed, but Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 does only allow the usage of a maximum of 32 GBytes. So 16 GBytes sit unused in the background.
Can PrimoCache access this 16 Gbyte RAM for caching, like it does on 32 Bit OS's with the extra RAM above 3.5 GByte?
Its really a waste not to use it...
Best,
Axel
Utilize RAM above 32 GByte under Windows Server 2008 R2 x64?

Both PrimoCache and Primo Ramdisk programs support Invisible Memory. See

But for server systems, you may need more tests to make sure that such usage is safe and reliable.
