Corruption without deferred writes
I've now experienced data corruption on 2 different 2008R2 Terminal Servers after installing Primocache. Write cache on, deferred writes were not turned on. Running v2.2.0. No reboots or crashes. Just progressive corruption.
Re: Corruption without deferred writes
Same here on Windows 10, seems to happen only when L2 cache is enabled.
Re: Corruption without deferred writes
@dwright1542, can you give me the detailed cache settings? Thanks!

Re: Corruption without deferred writes
This wasn't L2 cache enabled. 10G cache size, 4k blocks.

Re: Corruption without deferred writes
Another 2008R2 now with a corrupt filesystem with write cache on, no L2, no deferred writes. Third time is a charm, disabling all write caching. No reboots, no power issues, no OS crashes on any of these systems.
Re: Corruption without deferred writes
I'm sorry for the corruption. This issue seems quite weird. We have asked our testers do more long-time tests on 2008R2.
Re: Corruption without deferred writes
Also try with fully updated Windows 10 and IntelRST.
