Will PrimoCache speed up my PC?

Post by Pablito76 »

My PC specs:
Processor (CPU) AMD FX-9590 Eight Core CPU (4.7GHz-5.0GHz/16MB CACHE/AM3+)
Motherboard ASUS® M5A99FX PRO R2.0 (DDR3, USB3.0, 6Gb/s,CrossFireX/SLI)
Memory (RAM) 32GB KINGSTON HYPER-X BEAST DUAL-DDR3 2133MHz X.M.P (4 x 8GB KIT)
Graphics Card 8GB AMD RADEON™ R9 390 - DVI, HDMI, DP - DX® 12, Eyefinity
1st Hard Disk 240GB KINGSTON HYPERX SAVAGE SSD, SATA 6 Gb/s (upto 560MB/sR | 530MB/sW)
2nd Hard Disk 4TB WD BLACK WD4003FZEX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE (7200rpm)

My question is, will it make a noticable speed difference if I use PrimoCache running on Kingston's 60GB SSDNow V300?

Also I've heard that PrimoCache won't use anything more than 64GB on a SSD, is this true? I ask this because Kingston's HyperX Savage SSD's run about 100MB/s quicker that most other fast SSD's for read and write but the minimum size is a 120GB and I would find it hard to leave half a SSD unused or can you run Primocache on a partition?

I am not sure what you use your computer for, but you can use up to 2TB for L2 cache. I just think your computer is a monster. LOL. I give you my setup. My computer is an ITX with a CFI A2060 case.

Gigabyte Z170N Gaming 5
Intel i7-6700k
32GB DDR4 3000MHZ
EVGA GTX 970
WD velociraptor 1TB, Samsung 128GB 850 Pro, and 2 Seagate 5TB Raid 1

Primocache setting:
4GB L1 /128GB L2 4k
Pref-etch enable no lock - R/W 10sec average delay
