Primocahce usinig 35% of my RAM

Post by davidst95 »

Hi,

I set PrimoCache to use 8GB out of my 32GB as cache with a 64 block size. I tried lower it to use only 4GB or ram but Windows Task Manager still shows a 35% jump in Memory use after I enable Primocache. Is this normal or I is there a way not to use so much RAM? Thank you.

Can you upload a screenshot of PrimoCache main dialog with showing cache status/statistics? Also can you upload a screenshot of Window memory usage?
Thanks.

I still see that your cache using 8GB ram for level-1 cache, not 4GB. You may edit this cache task to change the cache configuration and set level-1 cache (MM) to 4GB.

Hi Linda, are you talking about helping me or do you have the same issue? My desktop crashed so I'm using my laptop so I can't test using less cache that support suggested until my new drive comes in. Also, sorry for posting a picture of a USB cable :-). I was getting Anker to send me a new one and some how my pictures got mixed up.
