Future Upgrades

Post by davidst95 »

Hi,

I been using PrimoCache for almost a 6 months and really like. I'm just curious if there will be an upgrade in the near future. The website says the last update was a year ago. Thanks.

I almost drop of my chair at work when I see this news.

Is there any change log that can be provided to see what have changed and any new / removed feature(s)?

Good to let them know of our anticipation but not to hasty about releasing a half-fast product.

"Yes, ver 2.0 is planned in the end of this month. Thank you for your support!"

That was a Scoop...
We are in May 2015 now.
Thanks for the update failure.

If the dev has gone on a six-month vacation to Fiji and is currently laughing at our silly requests for an update, then perhaps I am upset.

However, I am a lonnng-time professional developer myself. I know the idea above is very unlikely. I know that nothing ever goes according to plans or schedules. Therefore, I am pleased to think that the developer has simply chosen caution over speed and is still working on the next update.

PrimoCache is trusted with every byte of data written by my system. I very much appreciate the care with which PrimoCache (formerly FancyCache) has been written and tested. I encourage the author to continue to prefer correctness over deadlines.

(That said, it would still be nice to have a quick note about the current state of development. No obligations, though.)

It took Primocache 3 years to go from alpha to gold. I am sure that v2.0 will be just as exciting as soon as it is release. Please be patient.

I too would like to know what new feature or enhancement was made.

Hey guys, I don't want to be.
I use a registred PrimoCache 1.0.1 version wich works fine.
They wrote "Yes, ver 2.0 is planned in the end of this month. Thank you for your support!" and they're wrong. That's all.
Two weeks after they wrote it, we're always waiting.
Why to wrote it if it's impossible to do. That's stupid...

Have a good day.

Any potential release this month or a change log would be quite nice? Not bothering but a community peek into Primocache v2 would be awesome.
