I recently installed PrimoCache and created a Cache Task, however I'm not sure I took everything into consideration when choosing the settings. My system HDD is shown as Drive 2, I use a SSD [dedicated] drive for caching.
I'd be very grateful for any piece of advice with respect to improving the parameters I used. Many thanks.

Re: Looking for the best PrimoCache setting
I use its scenarios according to my pc, is to what works best for me.
I'm pretty gamer and editing photos / video.
If your system drive (C:) is an SSD, it is not necessary to create an L2 cache SSD for him
create an L1 cache between 1024 and 4096 MB 4KB block size for the system C:
if your other HDD is used for the game or heavy work program
designate for the other HDD a second L1 cache between 1024 and 4096 4KB block size) with the L2 cache SSD 16/32GB or MAX
if C: is not an SSD
create an L1 cache with 4096 MB 4KB block size and SSD L2 cache with max height, put the system C: and other HDD (not for the HDD used for archiving or pure storage)
strategy to read and write caches with 60 seconds or more times
L1 cache size depends on the remaining average RAM on your PC when your most significant uses

Re: Looking for the best PrimoCache setting
Thank you DMatter!
Since this was not completely clear in my previous post, I'm listing the drives below:
- C: (Disk 0), Seagate Barracuda ST3320620AS, 320GB NTFS, (temporary) HDD system disk
- G: (Disk 1), Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001-1CH164, 2TB NTFS, previous HDD system disk (now not in use / data disk)
- (Disk 2), Kingston SSDNow SV300S37A60G, 60GB, N/A, dedicated SSD cache drive
I used the settings you kindly suggested for my configuration. That lead (in time) to a maximum cache hit rate of 65.43%, lower than the 73.85% (s. above). So I changed back the settings (for the time being).
In case there's anything else I could try, do let me know please.
Best regards,
Valentin
