Trimmed blocks

Post by gotterdammerungly »

Could somebody please explain to me what these are? Is a lot of them good or bad?
Thanks.

Trimmed blocks - which are blocks to be deleted (because these components are not necessary). And the greater the number the better. They will not be written to disk. This is especially true disk SSD.

Thank you, that is as I had assumed. I have a very large number of these, typically many thousands, so I infer that PrimoCache is doing a good job for me. It certainly lessens the HD activity considerably. I have deferred write set to 300s.
