Does primocache run as a service?

if so, what is the service name? I''m looking for it with no luck. trying to stop it via script while snapraid is running a sync/scrub and since the time is variable depending on when its sync'ing and scrubbing using a /timeout for a pause in a batch is my next best option.

no. PrimoCace runs as a driver. You can use PrimoCache CLI command to stop or pause cache.
