L1->L2->HDD Write Cache

I'm trailing using PrimoCache for easing bursts of network traffic to my backup server and using a 120GB partition off the boot SSD mirror as L2. We have bursts of data (around 60-100GB) from various systems that overwhelm the parity storage array and causes the array to perform very poorly. It seems PrimoCache does very well at caching this write-data to L1, but it skips by L2 completely.

Is there a way to use L2 SSD as write cache alongside L1 or can L2 only store read data?

In the coming v3.0, it is possible to use L2 SSD as write cache.
