Another 2008R2 now with a corrupt filesystem with write cache on, no L2, no deferred writes. Third time is a charm, disabling all write caching. No reboots, no power issues, no OS crashes on any of these systems.

This wasn't L2 cache enabled. 10G cache size, 4k blocks.

Corruption without deferred writes
I've now experienced data corruption on 2 different 2008R2 Terminal Servers after installing Primocache. Write cache on, deferred writes were not turned on. Running v2.2.0. No reboots or crashes. Just progressive corruption.

Any use for write caching without defer writes?
I'm already pleased with the performance gains on reads. Is there much of a benefit of write caching without deferred writes? I cannot turn that on and risk data loss, so I'm wondering if it would be better to just go full read cache mode and have all the memory for reads, if there is little use on ...
