Re: Feature Request regarding Defer Cache Flush
While I highly appreciate the changes you introduced with the latest update, I realized my suggestion didn't find it's way in PrimoCache yet. I'd really just need you do add a Write Mode-Choice under "Advanced Defer-Write Options" like "Forced Flush at Full Speed" with a descript...

5 Activation Limit
I'm aware of the age of this thread, but I feel this should be taken into consideration by Romex again. In my opinion the current licensing model is very outdated and, at least for my european perspective, quite unusual and even pushing potential customers away from being interested in PrimoCache. I...

Re: Win 10 Compact feature: Better Compatible? compression!
Windows 10 comes with a new compression feature called Compact/CompactOS: It's generally faster (multi threaded?) than Windows compression BUT the main advantage is that it does NOT: 1st write the uncompressed file to disk, Then also the compressed file Then compare sizes Then erase the uncompresse...

Feature Request regarding Defer Cache Flush
Hey there, love using and on-the-fly configuring your software on a daily base for indivudual needs. For that, I'd be grateful to see you implement two specific features. 1) Unlike to the normal scenario of flushing defered write data, if forcing a flush by e.g. changing config or clicking the "...

Re: Dark mode
I'm joining the users that would love to see you implement a dark mode to PrimoCache. It's pretty much the only app I use multiple times a day (ya'rly!) which doesn't support a dark mode and it often hurts my eyes. I already tried to force it into dark mode using an App called "Mica for Everyon...

Nope, not a NUMA.
Why does it fail to allocate more memory when there is still plenty of it available?

Cache "successfuly" fails to be applied when more than 65 GiByte is configured
Windows OS: 11 23H2 Hardware Information [tab]Memory: 128 GiByte PrimoCache Version: 4.3.0 Personal Problem Description: When trying to assign 66 GiByte or more L1 Cache to a cache task, PrimoCache will say it successfuly applied the Cache while it actually didn't and assigned nothing. Until 65 GiB...

Re: L1 cache with drives from L2 cache + another
This is possible and, I think, the most commonly used configuration. I, for example, have 2 NVMe-Drives and 4 HDDs. I use a RAID0 of 3 SATA SSDs as a L2-Cache in addition to L1-Cache. Via the volume specifcations dialog I set up that all NVMe-Drives are allowed to use the L1-Cache while all HDDs are...

Re: Failed to start cache / to convert this volume to a level-2 storage volume!
Yes, I tried both methods. I also just tried both methods again with 360 Total Security entirely disabled. I did not only temporarily pause it, but set it up to not start its protection on windows startup at all. I did this because 360 Total Security did not appear to apply the both files to it's wh...
