Is it still a maximum amount of seconds when "average" is chosen as advanced defer-write option? i cant remember what it was before, but it was quite low?
And any news about being able to limit how fast other defer-write options writes back to disk?

It was 120 seconds AFAIK, but we have to wait for primocache dev to get definitive answer.user4653453 wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 4:02 pm Is it still a maximum amount of seconds when "average" is chosen as advanced defer-write option? i cant remember what it was before, but it was quite low?
I am also interested in this. Flushing ~10-20 GB at times to Raid5 (3x 8 TB) and it kills my array while writing 450 MB/s (flushing). If I could limit flushing speed to ~100 MB/s, this would still be fast enough and wouldn't kill the performance.user4653453 wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 4:02 pm And any news about being able to limit how fast other defer-write options writes back to disk?

It's correct.chaostheory wrote: ↑Sat May 29, 2021 8:35 am It was 120 seconds AFAIK, but we have to wait for primocache dev to get definitive answer.
It's in our to-do list and given a high priority.chaostheory wrote: ↑Sat May 29, 2021 8:35 am Flushing ~10-20 GB at times to Raid5 (3x 8 TB) and it kills my array while writing 450 MB/s (flushing). Verification does not seem to work, today my PC shut down due to power outage, after reboot L2 cache was wiped.New: Verify level-2 cache data on the next boot after an ungraceful shutdown, instead of simply cleaning all level-2 cache data.
I have two NTFS partitions on local HDDs in Windows RAID0 configuration.

Re: [2021-01-30] PrimoCache 4.1.0 released!
By using PrimoCache 4.1.0 along with SoftRAID on a pair of Corsair MP600 I'm getting 19.000MB/s of writes up to 38GB and then a wooping 9000MB/s due to the SoftRAID.
The two pieces of software combined turned my PC into a freaking beast!.

Same for me, L2 reset hapened multiple times (LSI RAID + intel 750 L2) ... A primocache operations log with infos like L2-cache reconstruction ok or failure too would be nice !ccarderr wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 6:05 pmVerification does not seem to work, today my PC shut down due to power outage, after reboot L2 cache was wiped.New: Verify level-2 cache data on the next boot after an ungraceful shutdown, instead of simply cleaning all level-2 cache data.
