Virtual memory questions

Post by Grey »

Say I have a 4 channels of memory, 8 RAM slots and 4 Optane 905P 380GB NVMe M2 storage devices. Are there any ways to make it all one effective memory pool?

How well does Virtual Memory works in Win 10 Pro, is it something that is handled well when your need is beyond the physical DRAM size?

Do the software here sold here support features like bolting drives to DRAM channels (in this specific case 64GB DRAM and 380GB 3DXP pr channel)?

Is there any way where the software will help with this specific scenario? (better effective performance/support for when you run out of physical memory)

Unrelated question to the above: Are there any performance improvements at all using two identical drives, where one caches for the other?

I hope some of this makes sense, thank you.

If I understand your questions correctly, I think Windows paging files shall work when your need is beyond the physical DRAM.
