Does "Clear Cache Content" flush defer write before clearing?

Post by TomB »

If I right-click on a task and select the 'Clear Cache Content' option on a cache that has only L1 cache in Shared mode, then will PrimoCache automatically flush any deferred write data to disk before clearing the cache contents or do I need to manually flush deferred write data to disk before I select to clear cache content?

(Defer Write Latency is set to Infinite, with mode of Intelligent, and Ignore Windows Busy condition.)

Thank you ...

PrimoCache will automatically flush all deferred write-data to disk before clearing the cache contents. No need to manually flush before clearing content.
