SLOW writing to SSD... Topic is solved

Like shiraz, I also use FancyCache to avoid writing to SSD, in particular temporary files that I regularly clean up at set interval. Reducing write latency would really defeat the purpose. Please reconsider or make it user-adjustable. Thanks.

I think it is a bug if the program doesn't flush all deferred write data at once while user clicks "Flush Write" button.
Anyway, we'd like to follow your advices.

While we wait for the next beta, could you please make available the old 0.5.0 (I need the Disk Edition) for download? Just spent a full hour for FC to flush write, even after a few hours (less than 24) of light use, quite unbearable to be frank.

I started testing FC in late Feb. (just a day or two before 0.6.0 release), so there should be no concern about license expiration.

Well, I tried 0.6.0 with the reduced latency, but all the jobs I do need the latency at 600 seconds... 0.5.0 worked so perfect for me, but 0.6.0 causes more writes due to the way my work flows with the new algorythm.
I tried to reinstall 0.5.0 but got the error ox80041010 which I believe means it expired.
Is there any way you can re-arm 0.5.0 until the next version comes out (with the throttle flag)? I will continue to use 0.6.0 for now, but would prefer 0.5.0 for 1/3 the writes to the SSD.

One good thing about 0.6.0 ... it seems to be faster at the reads and more effecient at what is in the cache. We just need to get the throttling under control.
