As far as I know, Windows default enables Write-Caching policy with Enable write caching on the device .

I don't know about exact algorithms behind the L1 cache. But if they don't use direct-mapped or mmap as client of LRU/LFU, maybe it increases...

Basically allows one to create a RAMdisk, using the VRAM on a graphics card.

As you can see in the link,it's not very fast...
