:? a little weird...
We have compared the code changes between FC0.61 and FC0.62. Can't find any clue so far.
Anyway, I'd like to know the detail info as this post
viewtopic.php?f=26&t=813&start=10

PS. How long did you use FC0.61? Perhaps we can try FC0.61 again to make sure if the issues only happen with FC0.62 or not.

Thanks.

Hello,

Sorry to answer now but i have a lot of work at this moment...

For this bug i'm making bunch test to see when it's happen exactly...

and actually i could only reproduce the error like this :

1. while using torrent download with vuze last version to e: (cached system)
2. Copying big file (50 GB) from e: to external USB HDD
3. Installing "ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre v5 Trial" to c: (cached system)
4. The installation show bug while trying to access "just copied file" indicting file not found
5. i had to wait some seconds and ask the installation to retry...
6. it's not a buggy computer problem cause when doing all this the computer respond correctly

Configuration :

Image

- For e: same config with 1024 Mb and 64 KB

Image

System :
Laptop HP HDX16
Chipset Mobile Intel PM45 Express
CPU Intel P9700 2.8 Ghz
HDD Hitashi 7200x 500 GB SATA (no raid)
I putted a capture of the HDD Config
Boot partition is the first one, the used system is in the second
Used System : Seven 32 Bit Ultimate
Ram : 8 GB DDR2
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT 512 RAM
I did not get the problem with 6.1 version i used it all the time from it came out till 6.2
No hardware change since 1 years

Thanks...

Hello,

Thanks for the quick replay...

The problem is solved (seems to be after all tests)

i'am verry happy that fancy cache still compatible with my complex machine... !! if it's okay with my machine it will be with all looool

The problem came from a windows update that changed the kernel to v6.1.7601.17592 (ntkrnlpa.exe) and update of some system file

My kernel file was spoiled... may be after a crash and chkdsk did not solve the problem... i got to uninstall all update from 2 moth ago, cleaning the system and update once again and checking, checksum and integrity of my kernel file... and it seems that this solved the problem... so it was a microsoft bug may be caused by a blue screen or bad reboot or else

any way i'am verry happy to get my machine clean at 100% and with fc enabled :D

Any way thanks to be there and for your help :)

:D i am happy that the issue is solved cause every issue with fc make me really :( cause it's complicated and it take a lot of time to debug...

Any way i could say Fancy Cache 0.6.2 is really an R.C. version !!!!!!!!! really really good job !!! thanks !
