When does an automatic flush occur?

Hi

I am trialling running Fancy Cache Disk beta infront of an OCZ Summit SSD in my Dell E6410. I've had no problems and I am very impressed. I particularly like the way TRIM takes place in cache when deferring writes.

A quick question - I understand that an automatic write-flush is invoked on shutdown but is it also invoked on 1) log off 2) transition to S1 sleep 3) transition to S3 sleep?

1) no
2) no
3) If hybrid sleep on, yes. Otherwise no.
4) S4 sleep: yes.

Thanks - sounds perfectly logical to me
