FC needs button to suspend caching

I found that FC for Disk caches at a very low level. It even intercepts the Windows defrag API.
When I cache my spinning disk to SSD and defrag the same spinner, FC routes all data via the L2 cache to the SSD.
This causes massive amounts of useless writes to the SSD. Useless because this data is never actually used and the cache hit rate is 0.00%.
In 10 minutes of defragging FC wrote ~20-30 GB of data to my SSD. This causes the SSD to quickly wear out. It also causes the SSD to slowdown.
What FC desperately needs is a 'Suspend/Resume Caching' button which preserves the cache settings. Users can then temporarily turn off the writes to SSD when they're defragging.
