Intel optane m10 16gb for 1tb HDD

So is it enough for 16gb intel optane as l2 cache for 1tb hdd games? Or is it just too small? and if you have suggestions what is the minimum hardware that can speed-up the 1tb hdd or suggestions like how much l1 should be used and so on. Thank you.

I normally use a ssd 1/4 size of data set. Since 1tb filled, I used about 256gb. But alway buy a larger ssd incase with upgrade the hdrive later.

I suspect that you'd see a pretty low hit rate with an m10 if the individual games that you are loading are over 16gb in size. P1600X (110gb) would probably be a good compromise on price performance for an L2.
