KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE Since I Download Rome Software

Hi everyone,

I get a BSOD with the 'KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE' error showing every time I plug in a USB, whether it be mouse, keyboard or external storage device.

Another thing I've been experiencing is problems with my mouse - I have to click a second time on things sometimes to open them as the first click doesn't register.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regarding bsod errors, do you have any corresponding dump files as described in the link below?

Definitely sounds like a driver issue. Update those, especially for USB devices. And check for malware, just in case. For the mouse, try a different port or replace the battery if it's wireless.
