Problem Description:
Running primocache on my Alienware M17 R5 laptop. Installed an Intel Optane ssd to use as caching drive. Whenver I restart the laptop the l2 cache is disabled. If I shutdown and then turn it back on it works fine. Have tried changing all settings and disabling fast boot still have issues when restarting.
L2 Cache disabled on restart Topic is solved
Re: L2 Cache disabled on restart
According to screenshots, it seems that the L2 drive is not available after you restart the computer. Do you have any write-protect software installed, or is the L2 drive still in the Windows Disk Managment after restart?
Re: L2 Cache disabled on restart
The drive is not in disk management after restart, so I guess this is an issue with my computer and not primo cache specifically. Guess I have some troubleshooting to do. Thanks for the help, sorry for not noticing it was a pc issue.
