No VMs are running from the drive pool. The drives are pooled using Stablebit DrivePool.

Seems quite weird... So if you copy files to the drive E you don't see any value changes in the "Total Write (Req)", right?

Can you open the registry editor and then locate to the branch "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{71a27cdd-812a-11d0-bec7-08002be2092f}", then upload a screenshot of its values. And same operations to the branch "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e967-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}". Thank you.

EPMVolFit is the driver for EaseUS partition manager, while EUBKMON/EUBAKUP is for EaseUS Todo Backup.
I suspect the problem may be related to these drivers.

I have removed them, but I've not noticed any changes.

Sorry, but I want to make sure if you restarted your computer after uninstalling and these filters are now not listed in the registry.

I have rebooted, but the entries persist in the registry.

Could any of these settings in Stablebit be impacting it?

We find that to work with Stablebit DrivePool you need to add source disks of the pool to the cache task, not the drive pool.
