I have this problem right now where PrimoCache is showing me a "Procesing, please wait" UI for +24h now. I was about to create a partition in that disk and I decided to remove the cache before to avoid problems.
However it seems that it won't never end as it has been going on for a ton of hours now.
I don't know how safe would it be to restart the computer, I had read/write L1 and L2 caches. This system has a 16TB HDD and two 1TB SSDs with a windows stripe storing a ~2TB cache.
I think I will do an image of the computer now btw... However it would be interesting to hear from you. The HDD activity seems almost idle and the SSDs are at 0% activity.
Regards,
Isaac.
PrimoCache doesn't finish removing Cache Task
Re: PrimoCache doesn't finish removing Cache Task
PrimoCache was waiting for the completion of the flushing deferred write-data. If you see target drives are idle, I'm afraid that you have to restart the computer to stop it waiting.
