Hello -- when setting up L2 cache, does the physical device has to be partitioned already, or will the L2 wizzard partion the device for the volume will be used for the L2 cache ---

Also, if the device has to be partioned using 3rd party software, does it matter if the parition is a primary or logical partition? Thanks

You need to partition the device first. You can use Windows Disk Management to partition the disk.
