Cache External Drive, failover to RamDisk

Post by hybred »

Hello -

Currently working out a strategy for a secure system that this product may be able to fufill. We're looking to take log data that is coming off a data stream and save it to an external drive if it is plugged in. If there is no external drive detected (or given set Drive Letter), then save the data to a RamDisk instead. Effectively, if the user wants their log data saved they need to have a given external drive plugged in, otherwise it will save to a RamDisk which will reset after each reboot.

Between the two Romex products, is this goal achievable?

I'm sorry but Primo Ramdisk and PrimoCache were not designed for this goal.
