PRO vs normal version + dual boot activation???

Post by TERRABYTEONE »

I PURCHASED 2 pc licence a few years ago

only activated 1 on win 7, main desktop(never got to activ 2nd licence on my x99 pc.

Iv not got a older dual boot tosiba satelite l850 quad core (16g 1866)

my sata 3 boot drive is split 1tb/1tb (windows 7/windows 10)in a wd 2tb sata blue ssd (limited to 550 read, 500 write)
+ 2tb 2.5" hdd seagate (ina dvd caddy to hdd) bay.(sata 2 speed limited to 250max) you get abbout 230,225 max ssd read if plugin.

QUESTION 1

2 WINDOWS ON SAME SSD, does it use up 1 activation per install, or can i use same activation for both windows. (windows 10 is installed on d:, drive letter (clean install)

c drive windows 7 (old games dont run in windows 10 red aler 3 addons, comand and conqer geners, zero hour etc....

But I boot up to windows 10, for browsing, banking etc... LICENCE IS 42? AUD i got 1 activation left

QUESTION 2
Also noted is a pro cache software ,20 extra(us) dollars upgrade.

what THE MAIN DIFFERENCE?

if i get a new pc to replace my 6700k z290 with a 12 gen core 7k, 32g ram etc, windows 10 ? will pro be needed?

my 6700k i have2 mnvme 1tb drives, windows 7 has first activation of 2 licence (same 1 code), it still boot up for older gamesw, but i clone the older ssd 960 evo samenung 1tb, to a 1tb evo pro plus, and upgraded to win 10. keeping old software and llicence

so i can dual boot on different ssds, with same 1 time licence (upgraded windows 10 from 7.)

Only one license is needed for multiple OSes within one computer. The difference between PrimoCache and PrimoCache Pro, please see https://www.romexsoftware.com/en-us/pri ... ition.html. In your case, I don't think pro is needed.
