How far in the boot process does primo cache kick in

Hi,
I want to accelerate windows boot partition with primo cache and L2 SSD. Currently I cannot boot from NVME SSD, so I wonder how effective will be L2 during boot process. Does it start working on boot (like for example HDD drivers) or before login or after login

So in theory after a few boots all the parts of windows (except maybe HDD drivers) will be in L2 cache?

A large chunk of the Windows startup files will be, but you'll never get 100%. The reason is that Primocache starts up in the kernel layer, at the same time Windows does. Other Windows files load before it, and some load after it. But even then, Primocache needs time to "fire up" at boot. It can accelerate boot times on a very slow spinner drive, but it'll never be quite as fast as simply booting from an equal speed drive (to what you're using as the L2).
