SSD Cache for USB-C DAS

Hi, is it viable to use PrimoCache for SSD caching of an external drive (in this case QNAP USB-C connected DAS)?
Also does PrimoCache run on Windows Server?

Any valid Windows volume can be cached by Primocache. If it's network connected, it needs to be an iSCSI volume to be cacheable.
And yes, Primocache has a Windows Server edition.
