can I move license for upgrade?

I am an AMD Ryzen user.
I want to check before purchasing ....
main board must updates BIOS for CPU support(Ryzen 2 cpu) and bug patches ...
If I update the BIOS to upgrade the CPU(or bug patch) ... can I move the license?

as long you have it activated already. It shouldn't have any problems upgrading the CPU.
