Can I use a 16GB Optane Drive for Primocache

Hi, my friend give me an extra 16GB Intel Optane drive but my CPU doesn't support the Intel cache feature. Would it make sense to use it as a cache for Primocache for a 4TB mechanical hard drive? Thanks.

Yes, PrimoCache can support use Optane as level-2 cache for other drives. However, I think it might be kind of small to use 16GB for a 4TB HDD. Generally you can use it to accelerate the Windows OS partition or other small partitions on the HDD.
