Hello, bump to an old thread.
If i use my cache for defer-write almost exclusively, i guess the data in the cache wont be encrypted? L2 Cache.

Thank you

edit: Or would the data that is still on the L2 cache after it has been written to disk be encrypted?

As far as I know, deferred write-data is also encrypted in cache on Windows 10 by default.

Our office now is temporarily closed as Omicron is spreading here. I will update it after we go back to the office.

I'm sorry but we are still under the lockdown. It's been over a month. Don't know when it will be back to normal. :(

We will update the thread as soon as we complete the checking. It's on our checklist.

I'm sorry for the late reply. We have just come out of epidemic control and back to normal work.
We now have tested the case and confirmed that deferred write-data are also encrypted in cache with BitLocker on Windows 10.
