Defragmentation software

Post by PeterB »

Can real-time fragmentation prevention technologies like the OptiWrite in Raxco PerfectDisk or IntelliWrite in Diskeeper from Condusive Technologies affect the stability of Primocache?

I have run PerfectDisk alongside Primocache for quite some time without any noticeable issues but just wondered what your thought are as the only questions like these go back to FC days?

Well, few users reported that defragmentation becomes slow with caching on. I'm not sure if they still have such problems with recent PrimoCache release. If you don't have this kind of problem, then I think there's no other problems so far.
