I checked the trial version 2.7.0 on copying a large volume of small files (100gb mp3 files).
Total system memory: 24Gb. Without caching, the copy speed is stable at 70mb/s. On the target disk (Cluster Size: 4kb) PrimoCache was configured with the parameters: Level1: 4096mb, Level2: Disabled, Block Size: 4kb, Strategy: Write-data Only, Defer-Write: 60s, Mode: (tried everything - the difference is not significant). Until reaching Deferred Blocks 100%, the speed of copying is 100mb/s. After 100% the speed drops and starts to jump from 3mb/s to 20mb/s (slower than without caching!). Is this a normal behavior or bug?

for writing huge amount of data, you may need to set defer-write to a small value like 1~10s.

So I should avoid overflow of the Deferred Blocks buffer?

When the deferred data amount overflows the cache buffer, PrimoCache will flush some data in an urgent way. This will cost the performance.
