I know the L2 cache is limited to 2TB.

But I'm trying to add a 5TB drive as a volume to be cached, not to hold the cache. PrimoCache is refusing it. But it let me add a 1TB drive after it refused the 5TB drive, so it seems like 5TB may be beyond some limit?

Is PrimoCache refusing to allow you to cache using L1 only? If so, then try increasing your block size (which will lower memory/indexing overheads). If this doesn't work, please give details of the exact message or error given.
