Using Windows 7 64 Pro on a 2nd PC.
Do I need to pause PrimoCache (or the Defer-Write option) when I want to back up my targeted system disk/partition using EaseUS Todo Backup Free?

Because if I don't do it (I pause PrimoCache) with Norton Ghost 10.0 and Windows XP Home SP3 on my 1st PC, it crashes...

Seems like you've answered your own question there - do you get a blue-screen crash and if so, what file does it mention (if any)?

The PC don't freeze. It restarts...

If your PC is configured to automatically restart after a serious error, follow the steps here to disable it. That will give you a chance to review the error and note any filenames mentioned.

Do you backup your system partition while PrimoCache is active?

Sorry but no.

I'm going to update PrimoCache to version 2.3.0 but since several monthes, using the PrimoCache CLI and the Windows Task Scheduler, PrimoCache is paused from 01:00 AM to 06:00 AM.
From 01:00 AM to 02:00 AM, Diskeeper can defragment my targeted system partition and from 02:30 AM to 06:00 AM, Norton Ghost 10.0 can backup it.

So, the problem with Norton Ghost 10.0 is bypassed and my L2STORAGE SSD isn't filled with blocks wich are only read when the defragmentation and/or backup operations occur.

Yes, it's a good solution to bypass the useless blocks. We also plan to bypass these blocks in the program in future versions.

All seems work fine.

My PrimoCache running version is 2.5.0.
