hello
samsung laptop with SSD have 840 pro for so and programs
and WD Black for documents
performance would improve if I make approximately 20 GB partition
for Level 2 cache
if I make partition in about 20 gb ssd would have better performance
or reduce the service life of the SSD
sorry for my English
thanks

Welcome to the forums Tradis,
Your SSD should use "wear-levelling" to ensure that any writes are spread across the entire disk, so while creating a partition for level 2 caching will reduce its lifetime (as will anything else involving regular writes), the impact should be minimal. Assuming a 10,000 cycle lifespan, a 250GB SSD should be able to handle 2,500,000GB of writes - even at maximum continuous usage (say 500MB/s) this would mean ~60 days and a more likely usage figure of 10MB/s would mean ~2,900 days or nearly 8 years.

doing what I comment
I can see a huge improvement in overall performance
or would be little benefit
the idea would be to put a 20gb or 30gb what do you recommend? more or less gb
Samsung 128gb 840pro is for OS and programs will overrun

If possible, use the Samsung SSD for documents and programs and leave the WD Caviar for data where speed is not important (backup copies of documents, downloads, pictures, videos). Then you don't need to bother with L2 caching and can just use L1 with spare memory to increase performance.
Otherwise, start with 20GB and check PrimoCache's statistics to see if L2 gets completely filled. If not, you can reduce it - if it fills quickly, consider increasing to 30GB.
