Intel Rapid Start Tech (L2) with Prime Cache

Hello;

I am wondering about how these two technologies work together. Intel Rapid Start is implemented in BIOS. Essentially takes an amount (64gb in my case) of SSD space to act as a cache volume to a HDD. From looking through the help documents this is very similar to how L2 Cache is handled in PrimoCache.

Now, all my drives are GPT types so I can not use the L2 Cache in Primo. I plan on setting up my Wife's computer soon and she has MBR drives.

In either case I'm assuming using L2 in Primo would not yield any benefit for a drive already being accelerated by a bios level L2.

Thoughts?
