Sometimes when you have a very difficult problem and don't know the solution, at least you have a guess of what is wrong.
However, when you know nothing..... you ask for help, so here am i.

I was reading the primo chache hrlp content and found this.
http://www.romexsoftware.com/en-us/prim ... cache.html
Another issue might be observed on few computers when using level-2 cache. On these computers, PrimoCache almost does not store data to level-2 cache and L2Storage Write value increases very slowly. This issue is usually caused by corruption of Windows performance counters.
thanks
minhgi, but i didn't understood what you said at first.
I executed the
lodctr /r command, but no results yet.
Maybe its unrelated, maybe not. but i have the intel RAPID instaled in my notebook, but since i can't configure my bios to Raid, the SSD aceleration is not being used.

You may want to run this command..
lodctr /R:PerfStringBackup.ini

Does the primo cahce install custom performance checks, or they are windows default?
beause my idle check seens to be working and there is no log in the primo cache folder.
is there any other reported cause for this problem?

I think Primocache use Windows default. Anyway, I just use that same command to fix the same issue after a check disk. Reboot, and Primocache start working again.

After many threads in the forum, and a lot of "read it until you understand", i noticed that my problem is just the same as everyone recentely.
Let's go for what i have tried and haven't worked.
Lodctr /R: Received the sucess message, bot, no changes in the result.
Lodctr /R: prefString* : the same.
my disk is never 100% idle.
tried a roll back to 0.9.8. was The same.
Reduced the SSD partition size and increased the block size. (i know it won't change, but i tried)
searching for the 0.9.2 version to test too.

Code: Select all
Level-2 Storage List
====================
Vol #8 Identifier {EC42224E-4420-45E3-8D6F-3E8A781B0516}
Label: L2STORAGE
Free/Capacity: 0 MB/32.00GB
Partition Capacity Cache
-------------------------------------
#0 32.00GB 1
is the behavior normal?
The free space of the l2 disk is 0.

This means that L2 storage is full. You may let it be because PrimoCache will automatically replace old data by new data. Alternatively, if you find current hit rate is not good, you may clear its content and PrimoCache will re-cache.
