L2 Win 8.1 Storage Spaces.. Topic is solved

Hello,

It seems that rebooting is wiping my L2 cache on win 8.1 Storage Spaces when used with L1 cache. Is there a way to debug this?

Is your system partition write-protected? You may check the "L2 free space" after reboot to see if L2 content is wiped.

Yes I have system ssd partition that is used for recovery and it's write protected. However I am only using l2/l1 cache on storage spaces that consist of separate 5 hdd which have two partition under storages spaces one is parity and other one is regular. It seems that l2 cache is being wiped on reboots. Also note that l2 cache is a separate ssd then boot ssd.
