Well it seems either Romex have listened or we jumped the gun, as I have just looked at the new home page and it shows Primocache and a buying link.
You can now buy a single licence for home use for $29, a lot better than having to buy 2 for $49. I am not sure about activation yet, I will go and buy a licence and see.
Either way, I personally feel sure the price is right, and the sales will prove it, a great product at a fair price.

Upon learning a 1 PC personal license became available I immediately purchased a copy for private use. Activation was painless although an (optional) reboot was necessary complete registration. Now I need to convince a few business clients to step up before their trial keys expire. A great solution for older machines with 32-bit windows and 4GB memory. Leveraging "invisible memory" for L1 cache brings IO performance to near SSD levels especially when combined with a 10s write deferral. In this configuration there is a small chance of data loss in the event of an unexpected crash or power failure but the benefits far outweigh the risk in this specific scenario. Purists would urge moving to 64-bit windows, adding a UPS, swapping out HHDs, etc. but that is not the way many small/micro businesses operate ... especially with non-mission critical equipment. A couple machines are still on XP with no plans to upgrade (keeping them safe is a bigger headache).

Yes, but only using the L1 (RAM) cache. L2 caching (which uses an SSD to cache a hard disk) won't be of benefit here and should not be used, unless you have a hard disk you want to cache also.

I had Primocache installed and running on my home-build server for 3 months now. It has never been shutdown but allow to sleep. The final version is super stable and had bought a license for it.

Caching array:
Diskeeper Pro 12
Primocache setting: Read/write, 2GB L1, 64GB L2, 4 second delay write
LSI 9260-8i 4 second delay write
Raid 10 and Raid 5

A note to 'intika' and everyone else discussing about crackable or not:

Hello, my name is Maximilian Mulavic and I checked your not-yet-cracked application out right now after I've seen the talk while I was looking for software to use a part of my installed RAM as a booster for system and program operations. After making me horny and wet as fuck to find a challenge, I fired up my good buddy x64dbg (you know him don't ya?) and started Primo Cache v1.0.1 inside.

Interesting fact about this product.
Assuming the online-activation system would offer the best anti-cracking protection, someone missed to code the trial checks properly. Patching the first 'remaining trial days' registry-check was enough to register the software completely (not just to extend the trial time).
So to finish your talk and give you a conclusion about who is right at the time of this post I have to say that the current licensing scheme only hurts legit customers willing to pay in the first case and also to use this software on offline-only machines.
Took me 5 seconds to crack this virgin, isn't it sad?

Still recommend buying the software so ppl can pay their bills and development can continue. If you need help with registration, you know how to reach me.

PM me here

Don't bother try to contact me outside of this forum, mail is faked and I've used enough nodes to hack the NSA HQ. If you wanna talk, use the thread since it's meant for this. ;)

Bai. :ugeek:

You're wrong on one score - a crack for PrimoCache 1.0.1 has been around for a few weeks now, you just needed to use a search engine. ;)

Aside from that, thanks for the recommendation but I suspect your post may otherwise be getting some moderator action.
