Hi !

My Windows7 is failing to shutdown, then my L2 cache is wiped out, as expected.
Does anyone knows how to track the shutdown failure, in a way to fix it and let PrimoCache L2 cache work ?

Regards

Welcome to the forums AlexByrth,

What is the exact problem you have? Does your PC take a long time (5+ minutes) to close, hang at the closing screen, give an error message or bluescreen? Each suggests a different problem and an online search using the specific error message or code (if any are given) would be the quickest way to find the cause of your issue.

Thanks for your replay !

I just upgraded my BIOS from version F13 to F15 (Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H mobo R.1.0).
This new bios states improved SATA compatibility.
After BIOS upgrade, I had to include drive C:\ on Cache Task #1 again.
So far, so good. No more crashes, but I'll watch for couple of days,

Best Regards,
Alex

Btw, the problem I was facing was a very long time to close. I had to press reset button to shut down my PC.
There was no blue screens, no error messages,
It's working fine after BIOS upgrade, but I'll give feed back.

Thanks for the update - long shutdown times have been linked to setting Windows to clear its pagefile on exit so it may be worth checking your settings there.
